Potential ranges randomly from 0-21 for each monster. The sprite work is excellent, and the shiny/nature/IV system is refined into a single scoring system coromon calls potential. Your character has the skills rather than the pokemon so they're available all the time. It's just plain pokemon, like pokemon should still be, but with loads of improvements like an achievement system with levels, rewards, and more rewards for accepting rewards. It doesn't shove stupid things in your face you have no interest in (boring waste of time beauty contests, required online feature showcases, megadigiterrastrialvolutions, dumb side quests). I think it's better than pokemon in most ways. It still adheres to the original formula of what works without any of the silliness that pokemon is adopting these days in order to force novelty into a worn-out franchise. ![]() ![]() However, It stands out quite well in that it has tons of new creature, hehe, comforts.
